Australian Record equalled by Brandon Starc

High jumper Brandon Starc has equalled the Australian record set by Tim Forsyth in 1997. The NSW Institute of Sport athlete soared high at the Eberstadt Hochsprung event in Germany, successfully jumping 2.36m.

Starc is in the form of his life, having this year won gold at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, clearing 2.32m in Carrara Stadium in April.
