FAQS

I have been invited to attend an interview, is there anything I need to prepare or bring with me on the day?

Details of a presentation brief, selection test or anything else you are expected to prepare in advance of the interview will be detailed in your invitation to interview.

Should you be successful at interview, we will ask you to provide documentation confirming your eligibility to work in Australia and your professional qualifications prior to you commencing employment with NSWIS.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes, this is possible.  If your application was shortlisted, and you were selected for interview, it is more than likely that you would be interviewed by different panels for the different role(s) as they may be for different sport(s).

At the interview stage, we would encourage you to declare you have applied for more than one position.

Can I undertake any work experience at NSWIS?

Due to the specific nature of the NSWIS work and the number of enquiries we receive, unfortunately we cannot respond to individual enquiries and emails around work experience, shadowing a practitioner in a specific department, requests for NSWIS staff or athletes to participate in research projects or to facilitate interview requests for student projects, dissertations, or courses.

I have a disability, what support can I get with my application?

Please let us know if you require assistance at any stage of the recruitment process by emailing us at nswis_recruitment@nswis.com.au
